how can i get my photos off my phone on to my comp without the internet??

  4. Mike says:

    Nikki,
You need to use your desktop manager software. If you don’t have it you can download it online (just search for your phone model). You can then connect your phone to your computer and transfer them easily with the file manager.

i just bought a blackberry pearl 8130. “just the phone alone” how do i put songs and pics onto the phone ?? try’d to download software but none work.please help!!

  6. Mike says:

@garfield- You can either transfer music/picture files to a SD card if it has one or transfer files on your phone using the Blackberry desktop manager. If you don’t have the CD for that you can find the download link on the bottom of the home page.

I just got my first blackberry it’s a blackberry pearl. Is there to send a message to alot of people at once? Not one by one if it is the same message?

  8. Mike says:

@ Dominic- You should be able to add a group in your address book. Just hit the menu button and add a new group. This way you can group text message by sending the text to that group. You should also be able to just add more than one contact to your message by selecting the “add to” from the menu while composing a text message.

@ Ruben- You can try to transfer music files by bluetooth. I would search that in google for more help. The easier way is to just transfer the files to another micro sd card and insert it into the other BlackBerry device.

I was able to move pictures from my old cellphone onto a SD memory card. Now I can’t figure out how to move the pictures from the SD memory card to the blackberry curve. I have successfully installed the memory card and can access the photos via the blackberry, but when I remove the SD card, I can no longer access the photos. What is the best way to transfer 180 photos from a SD memory card to blackberry curve device memory?

  12. Mike says:

@ Megan- I would use the BlackBerry desktop manager to do that. You can easily transfer files there.

How do I stop Face book sending damn notifications to my phone? It’s not e-mails and it’s not SMS’es. When I set up FB on my BB, it asked me if I want to send notifications to my phone, and I checked “YES” now it’s annoying me, that my phone goes “Beep” every time anything happens on FB. Any ideas on how to stop that please?

  15. Mike says:

@ Claire While in Facebook on your BlackBerry, choose the “options” in the menu. From there you will be able to change your Facebook email notification settings.

  16. Mike says:

    @ Jojo-
    1. Go to your email accounts (manage internet email)
    2. Click on the “edit” next to the email account on which you wish to edit (or remove) the signature.
    3. Where it says “signature”, delete all text if you want NO signature, or edit the display what you prefer rather than “Sent from my BlackBerry…”
    4. Click SAVE.
